49 More Children Died in Farrukhabad Due to Lack of Oxygen After Gorakhpur Tradegy

Last month more than 60 children died Gorakhpur due to lack of oxygen and now more 49 children died in a government hospital of Farrukhabad due to shortage of oxygen. The District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar has ordered a investigation into the whole incident.

All children died between one month from July 21 to August 20. In investigation the reason behind the death of all new born baby was 'Perinatal Asphyxia' which means lack of oxygen in the hospital.

The first information report (FIR) has been filled against the Chief Medical officer (CMO) who runs the hospital and Chief Medical Superintendent .

"A case has been registered against the CMO, CMS and some other doctors. Further action will be taken as the investigation proceeds." said Dayanand Mishra, SP of Farrukhbad.

This was the second incident happens in over a month of period after Gorakhpur, It is shameful tradegy. Many innocent new born children died because of lack of oxygen.
